 Inshore fishing takes place in the calm waters of bays, estuaries, tidal creeks, and around jetties. It typically involves fishing within a few miles of the coast and targets species like redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and black drum 


  Depending on the season, common catches include:
- Redfish (red drum)
- Speckled sea trout
- Flounder
- Sheepshead
- Black drum
- Spanish mackerel (seasonal)


  No. All fishing licenses and permits are covered under the captain's charter license, so you don’t need to bring or buy one.


  6 however we recommend 4 anglers as the optimal number, 


- Sunscreen and hat
- Sunglasses (polarized preferred)
- Snacks or lunch
- Drinks (no glass bottles)
-- Weather-appropriate clothing (layers if needed)



 Safety is our priority. If the captain determines conditions are unsafe due to weather, we will reschedule your trip or offer a full refund.


   Charleston offers great fishing year-round, but peak inshore seasons are:
- Spring (March–May): Redfish, trout, flounder
- Summer (June–August): Variety of species, great for sight fishing
- Fall (September–November): Excellent redfish and trout fishing
- Winter (December–February): Clear water and schooling redfish


  

Yes, as long as the fish are within legal size and bag limits set by South Carolina DNR. The captain will help clean and bag your catch if you'd like to take it home for an additional fee.



 Absolutely! Inshore fishing is perfect for kids and first-timers. Our captains are patient, knowledgeable, and happy to teach the basics to anglers of all ages.


Cancellations made 72 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. No-shows on day of charter- no refund. Cancellations within 72 hours is a 50% charge.  Cancellation due to extreme weather conditions will be determined by the captain only when the safety of the client is at risk.

- Cooler with ice
- Fishing license
- Fish cleaning and bagging ($75 additional cost)


 Gratuities are not required but always appreciated. A typical tip is 15–20% of the trip cost, based on your satisfaction with the experience.
